The Crohns Problem 2008, Its Twice as Bad!

Following the decision to get MAP out of UK food, I have been keeping an eye on the statistics. The Hospital Episodes Statistics for the England and Wales show crohns admissions have more than doubled in 9 years.

The latest total is 36,607 for 2006/2007. If MAP causes crohns, and food is now clear, something is wrong.

I have asked our food Standards Agency several times to test our milk again to make sure its clear. They have said they will, but have not said when. I want this to be done now. I have sent a petition to the Prime Minister.

If you look at Gareth’s movie. You will hear that 15% of UK citizens are now infected with MAP. 9 Million. More than the entire population of London.

Out of this 9 Million. At Least 166,000 have crohns disease. 92% of the 180,000 in the UK with crohns.

92% of Crohns victims are MAP+  why is this? Does MAP cause Crohns, or does Crohns cause people to catch MAP from milk?

15% of people with Crohns are MAP- and 51 million UK citizens are MAP-.

I just did some sums. If these figure are right, it means that  30 people out of every 10,000 get crohns.

If people are MAP+ 184 out of every 10,000 have crohns.

If people are MAP-  3 out of every 10,000 have crohns.

Therefore if you are MAP+ you are 60 times more likely to have crohns.

Does anyone understand this?

If you smoke, or have bad genes its even worse. Lets identify people at risk and have food tested again now.

 

 

Crohns Disease is still Spreading rapidly in the UK.
